Anna Beahm is a North Alabama native now living in Nashville with her husband, Ty. Anna draws on her experience growing up in a small town in Alabama to inform her reporting on the state of sex education and evangelical sex education known as purity culture across America. Her reporting addresses the scientific, emotional and spiritual aspects of how purity culture and abstinence-only sex education has affected a generation of Americans.
